Before joining:

Must have atleast one to two years experience before joining this site.

Also when applying please state that you understand these rules, have read them, and will obey them.

Age Limit added - 10-10-06
No one under the age of 15 will be admitted to join. Since this is a new rule thoughs who had been here before the rule was made may stay. To prevent any farther aguements I have upped the age requirements. Your age wiill be checked by ither of the admins before accepting.

Stalking!!
There will be absolutely NO STALKING on this board. Doesn't matter how. Wheather in character, in and out of character, or just out of character. If I find that is happening to a member here the person doing the stalking will automatically be banned!! No acceptions on that rule. This is so people can feel safe and comphterable on here while roleplaying ex.

Siggy requirements
If your siggy is 450 x 200 pixles you are only allowed one signature. However if your siggy is 300 x 200 pixles you are allowed two only. I stress this because it streches out your profile and where you may post at.

(Email Problems?)
Aol email. In regards to members that have Aol adresses it may not go threw. Please try Hotmail or Yahoo servers to get your activation key.

(Trouble Shooting?)
IE: Will have problems loading slowly possibly and will look slightly different
FireFox: Does not have problems loading and will be totaly fine.
Safari: Does not have problems loading and will be totaly fine.
Aol Severs: ?

Your Accounts
Yes your accounts. The characters you create please place the characters you play in your account notes.

Activness is a must!!!
I will be giveing out emails to all who are members of the board atleast once a month or once every two months on character cleanouts. So please be active. It is your duity to be if you sign up. Activeness and posting is part of the board rules.

You do not have to be active every day. You can be active once a week, twice a week or even three times a month. That I include as being active. Which every you choose but please don't wear yourself out.

Fill out the application forms correctly if you don't you will not be accepted.

I or another admin sorts you if you choose to have a non-cannon character student app you do not sort yourself! unless you are a cannon character student.

1) Do not tell me how to run this site. Do not contradict yourself in saying "I'm not telling how to run your site, but that is what I feel should or shouldn't be."

2) To that there will be no warning I will ban you. I will not have peoples roles here destroyed by some spoil sport. Its completely out of the question.

3) If you have a problem with the plot and how charaters are portraying themselves here let them be. Leave the board if you don't like it.

I've only added that because one person had already done so and she is banned. I will not have peoples roleplays destroyed by thoughs who don't aprove of the plot.

(While joining)
How many characters can you have?
I would limit anyone to atleast five characters per person minimum to a max of 7 characters per person..

One pet peeve I have since I had ran into this problem before else where. No one absolutly no Riddle can be an adoptive of Snape. No adoptives of Snape period. I have my reasons and its to protect Snape's image and role of his plot.

(Characters)
I would like to encorage each who sign up to not be afraid to sign up as a, Ghost,poltergeist,centar,demon,vampire,werewolf,dementor ex. Any sort of HP creature.

(Roleplaying)
1) No Spamming: Spamming meaning only having two sentance.

2)Must have atleast a paragraph as like in your exsample of rpging when signing up. NO less then 6 sentences.

If caught Spamming you will be sent a warning from one of the Moderators,Global Moderators, or The Admins themselves. If caught twice Spamming after a first warning there will be a warning on your profile due to a spam warning. So please do your best not to spam. Spam free boards I find do much better then thoughs boards who have tramendous amunt of Spam.

3) No MarySue's!-do not take controll of another persons character unless you have permission from that person. Part of NO GODMODLING!

Godmodling absolutly no godmodling will be going on unless there character is not a regesitered member or the character member does belong to you in which you've signed on to it Other wize no god-modily anyone elses charcter! I will know which characters are yours so don't think you can fool me on it. One warning on the first offence after that...well....

5) If your Character is to be related to a character and or cannon character please ask one of the Admin first! Or the person that RPG's that character.

6) Your name must have a first and sure name. (last name) When applying if you do not change your display name. Must be first and last name. Will not accept any character of ss32 or freedark. For registering for the board it is fine but do change it when making your character please. If you haven't changed it when signing up your character in post. Then you will get a first warning. Untill you change it to a first and last name bases.

(Nother example I will not accept display names of is)

I'm impressing this because of the fact it confuses other people when trying to rpg with toughs kind of characters.

What display Names I will accept is as I've said:

7) I'm impressing the fact since I've seen atleast three people do this it appoled me. Being that Snape is infact a spy people. He would not jepordise his role as a spy being that of takeing in/adoption of a daughter or son of Tom Riddle. That would infact give away his position as a spy. This idea will not be accepted because of that reason.

(Cannon Characters)
Must be active! If you are a cannon character and are not active within atleast a month then I will reluctantly give the position to someone who would want it. Or say if someone else apply's for it.

So please do be active.!

(Celebrity names)
I will not accept any celeberity names as character's must come up with something else. Will not accept something like Kelly Clarkson

(other characters such as centars, ghosts, demons ex.)
The only rule I have for this is that are the only characters that are allowed to have only a first name.

ex of acceptable names for these characters: The Reaper, The Grim One, Enchanted, Moral.

(Posting and in character)
1) By all means people this is Roleplay. Roleplay means nothing outside of OOC. A reminder if somenoe has a problem with someone else here. They will be reminded to keep there distance from that person and possibly block there pms if neccessary. Even then no harrassment will be alowed on this board if caught I will warn who ever is. But in regards to that everyone is to rpg together and answer to what they have.

In other words no one bans any person from rpging with any character for any personal or non personal reasons. They are to answer and keep in mind that it is only roleplay.

(OOC Rules)
No flaming.
Must be kind in OOC to everyone.
Which means no word fighting!
If I find word fighting the thread will be locked or delted and people who were in that thread questioned. And possibly banned.

(Posting in general)
Want to remind you all that when you sign up you agree to be active and post. If I see an unactive account it will be deleted if it had not posted even a single post within two weeks to a month. I will give some leway before I do go and delete the account. Must be active upon signing up. Is the board agreement.

4) No flaming Period!

Rules on Marriage
Rules on Marrage yes there will be one. The rule on that is that only 6, 7th year Hogwarts students are allowed to be or get Married if they wish to. Other wize any younger then that no. Adults of course are allowed to get married..

A Small Note: I would like this board to a-company many different races. (Causation,African American,indian, ex) I've noticed most boards have only one. Which I feel grows sometimes boring. Also I'm trying to keep this place fun! And a wanting to be here enjoying the rpging. Which is why I impress on No Flamming in OOC and fair rpging with each other. Which means in character posting don't discriminate others just becuase you might have a problem with them in real life. Its seperate from rpging board.

Charrie Claim!!
I've had problems with people trying to steal my charrie so Please DO NOT STEAL OTHER PEOPLES CHARRIES! Don't piss anyone off by stealing there charrie!

A prime exsample of a good and bad post. Compliments and thanks to Fred Weasley for place it in.

Please make some semblence of decency in regard to what you write. In laymen's terms, write like you've been to primary school or something, unless of course you haven't, to which I say "good heavens, man".

BAD EXAMPLE
"er so ron wakled into the room and said hey hermione i want to declare passionate love foryou lets go now but she said know ron this is too soon and i dont know wot a wont please go away rons mad so he sais absoly not but i love you then he sahsed out mad like"

GOOD EXPAMPLE
"Of lately, Ron was feeling confused. Not only had he discovered a little crush he had for his friend Hermione, but he soon realized it was a fullblown affair. At this realization, he deemed it neccessary to confront her and declare his undying love. He was now on his way..."<-----(you get the picture now)

So everyone please try.

ALSO:
1. Only RP if you have been sorted. What is really untoward is some people taking the liberty to rp all over the place.

Plus: There are several skins here to choose from that you will find while modifying your profile. I'm currently working on a few more now.
